Those who do not invest in a self directed Roth Ira probably do not understand it. They also probably do not know what the investment options are in this IRA. This IRA also has the benefit of investing in real estate. It is one of very few retirement saving options that give an option to invest in real estate. It is nearly impossible to invest in real estate with a traditional IRA and not at all possible with a 401K.
